New York Bloggin....Welcome to Broadway... A trip of firsts.

There is a video blog somewhere that Stephanie and I tried to upload before leaving for New York City, but It did not end up uploading for some reason.

WELL... I am now home from NYC! I am going to fill you guys in on all of the details!

STARTING NOW...

Sunday, December 13th Stephanie proceeded to start out journey..to Catoosa, Oklahoma!

In Catoosa was Cori's Grandparents, whom we stayed with that evening. SHOUT OUT to them!THANKYOU so much for feeding us and letting us stay with you!

MONDAY, December 14th

We start our LONG drive to NYC @ about 6 AM! The drive to Princeton, New Jersey is about 21 hours without stops, and We needed to be in Princeton by 6 A.M. the next morning because of parking. This is why we left then.

The first...first for me...was driving through St. Louis!

It was really exciting seeing the arch in St. Louis because I had never seen it before, and also crossing the Mississppi river!

All the other bouts of firsts for me..were crossing all of the state lines.

I had never been to these states until then.

The long list of states that we encounterd on the drive TO NYC include..Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey..and eventually New York!

The list is a little different for the drive back, and I'll inform you on that @ a later time!

After driving for liiike...ever. It really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. ADVICE: make sure you have a driving, and sleeping schedule for everyone in that is going to be driving! This will eliminate any wierd tension and/or tiredness or anyone not getting sleep when needing too.

TUESDAY, December 15th..

We arrive @ Princeton Junction at around 6 A.M. This is where we parked at and took the train into NYC from. The reason we decided to do this is because it has daily parking for only 4 dollars a day!

The train ride into NYC was not bad at all. It only took about 30 to 40 minutes and it cost around 12 dollars! We then arrived @ New York Penn Station.

Apon walking out of Penn Station..Its a total rush of excitment. Walking right into the crazy city. We walked right by Al Roker...down broadway...and saw Times Square!

We then lugged our Jesus sized suit case about 8 blocks to where we would be staying...

Big Apple Hostel! Which is pretty much in the middle of times square! http://http//www.bigapplehostel.com/

This was my first time ever to stay at a Hostel and It was definitely not a bad experience at all!

Here we were...right in the middle of Times Square in the Theatre District! BROADWAY!
